TELLIN is able to provide value-added services for many networks such as PSTN, NGN, GSM, GPRS, WCDMA and CDMA2000, supporting voice, multimedia and abundant data service capabilities. The capabilities of ENIP have been developed far beyond the concept of traditional IN.ENIP provides an uniform service development & operation environment, so that multiple capabilities can be used in one service as required and various network users can be supported. In this way TELLIN is able to support services with perfect integrated features.
Besides, TELLIN also provides standard open interfaces such as Parlay/OSA and Parlay X, etc. With the support of the flexible open framework of TELLIN capabilities, service capabilities of the system, even hosted applications, can be opened for application by a third party.
A breakthrough improvement of TELLIN in service development is that: on the basis of reserving the traditional IN mode by using SIB to create services easily and rapidly, the development mode of using programming languages is added in the interest of IT programmers. TELLIN uses the system to provide abundant class library creation services, thus enhancing service development flexibility, function extension easiness, and enabling more programmers to be engaged in the development of telecom services.
The folloFINg figure gives an overview of TELLIN system.
System Introduction
TELLIN System provides the folloFINg main sub system for IN solution:
l Service creation environment (SCE): TELLIN-SCE
l Service control point (SCP): TELLIN-SCP
l Service data point (SDP): TELLIN-SDP
l Service management system (SMS): TELLIN-SMS l Intelligent Network Report system: TELLIN-INRPT l Voucher Management System: TELLIN-VoMS
To provide the service management service on the basis of WEB interface, TELLIN also employs the WebServer supplied by the third party as the Web application platform. Furthermore, it utilizes such equipment as SSP and IP developed on the basis switching platform.
l Service switching point (SSP): SSP
l Advanced Intelligent peripheral (IP): AIP
l IN network management system: iManager I2000
The IN architecture of TELLIN system is shown in the folloFINg figure
